ARC451: Special Topic I - Supporting Skills for Architects and Designers
Students will learn additional skills that they can apply to support in theirs architectural and design works.
The course contains knowledge modules that not have in normal required courses but they are useful in supporting
students' works such as digital knowledge, model making, specific professional English etc.
Students can individually select theirs interested knowledge modules that they can apply for theirs studies or
works on architectural and design.
Note: This course can be counted as a program's elective course for ARC, INA, IND, CMD programs.

What is this course?
The Supporting Skills Course for Architects and Designers(SS4AD) is a modern approach to learning. The course consists of many small knowledge modules.
Each module provides contents that focus only a single or couple of topics and can be completed in a short period (i.e. 1 credit).
After completed a module, students will have knowledge in the specific topic which they can apply to help in theirs studies or works.
For example, students who complete the Wood 101 will be able to make a wood model for theirs design work by themselves.
Since each module take short periods to study, students can take up to 3 modules in the SSC. Furthermore, they can choose to
learn only topics that they want.

Students may suggest topics or skills that they want in the future.
The course is divided into 3 period of studies.
Students must select 3 modules (that are taught in different periods).
Final scores are the average of the results of the 3 selected modules.
